Call for Papers

We invite researchers to submit long abstract(750-1000 words) on innovative research related to geospatial computing and human behaviors in urban contexts. This is an opportunity to present cutting-edge findings to an international audience and contribute to addressing urban challenges. Submissions are welcomed across the workshop’s thematic areas, including but not limited to:

  • GeoAI models of human mobility in urban environments
  • Multi-modality data fusion methods for uncovering behavior-environment interactions
  • Geo-ontological models of human activity and travel behavior
  • Knowledge-based geo-computation for context-aware reasoning of human behavior contexts
  • Reliable geo-computation methods for optimizing activity-travel scheduling under uncertainties
  • International standards and scalable, interoperable, and reusable mobility-data-related solutions
  • Geo-visualization and spatial representation methods for large-scale human mobility data
  • Geo-privacy and ethical considerations in analyzing and utilizing individuals’ spatial data
  • Integration and usage of spatial data and geospatial computing in educational research and student learning analytics

Excellent papers from the workshop will be recommended for publication in the special issue in Transactions in GIS——Human Behavior and Urban Environments: Artificial Intelligence-Based Approaches.
